Dockside Restaurant and Tiki Bar– Located on the Point Dockside has weekly specials, seafood, and American. 

Partially accessible. Dining room to your right as you come in is, to your left there is a step. Restrooms are partially accessible.

There is a tiki bar in the back where bands play in the summer. The porch is accessible, the sand is not.


Lighthouse Thai and French– Located on Monroe Bay Lighthouse features Thai and French Cuisine in a casual atmosphere.

Lighthouse is fully accessible although it has a gravel parking lot.

Riverboat– Riverboat on the Potomac is on the boardwalk in Colonial Beach. Having a full restaurant, liquor store, banquet facilities and off track betting. Food is seafood and American.

The most ADA accessible restaurant in Colonial Beach. The ramp in is long and wraps around.

High Tides and The Black Pearl Tiki Bar-Directly on the boardwalk in the middle of downtown High Tides looks out onto the Potomac. Serving seafood and American fare with plenty of drinks to wash it down.

The restaurant and porch are accessible from the parking lot behind the restaurant. You cannot get into the restaurant from the boardwalk if you are in a wheelchair.

The Tiki Bar is not ADA friendly. There is limited room on the porch to watch bands if you cannot handle the sand.

Denson’s–  Great restaurant and market on Washington Avenue.

Denson’s is only accessible through the back of the outdoor seating area. There is a step into the market and it is small inside. However, Rocky and Blaire are very helpful with disabled customers and willing to accomodate.

Lenny’s-A breakfast and lunch joint on Colonial Avenue. Frequented by many locals.

Restaurant is accessible, restrooms are not.

Ola’s- Located on 205, a small homey dining place with homestyle food.

Building is accessbile, unsure of restrooms.

Hunan Diner-Chinese restaurant in an old train car diner on Washington and Colonial Avenue.

Restaurant is accessible from the back. They have a door with a bell you can ring to come in that way. Restrooms are not accessible.

Four Seasons- American food. Huge menu, open 7 days a week.

Fully accessible.

Ledo’s- Pizza and pasta chain.

Fully Accessible.

Tide’s Inn Market- Small menu that changes frequently.

Somewhat accessible. I can get into it with my moblity scooter. I have not tried the restrooms or courtyard.


Top’s Chinese- Located in the Beach Gate Shopping Center.

Accessible to dine-in, unsure of bathrooms.

Wilkerson’s – Seafood restaurant on 205.

Restaurant is accessible, unsure of bathrooms.

McDonald’s- Fully Accessible.

Domino’s Pizza- Accessible, but is only a carryout/delivery pizza joint.

 

On the boardwalk (carts, food trucks, stand)

Willey’s- BBQ and burgers. Fantastic barbecue.

Stand on the boardwalk, carry out only.

Beach Dogs- Food truck on the boardwalk. Hot Dogs and Fries

Gypsy Snowcone and Food- Food truck on the boardwalk. Does not take credit cards. Cash only.

Dogs and Hogs Hot Dog cart- Hot Dog tand beside the Beach Ball shop.

Beach Taco- Food truck on the boardwalk.
